In July the Doll's were kind enough to give us tickets to the All-Star Fanfest in SF. The kids had such an awesome time. It was heaven for Mitchell. Well, they had a singing contest for "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and Mitchell got up there and sang his little heart out. We sing this song at bedtime along with the cougar fight song, so he was up to the challenge. Usually at the "root, root, root" part we sing "for the A's," but he sang out "for the Giants" and the crowd went wild. Needless to say, he won. When we asked him why he sang "for the Giants" instead of the usual A's he said, "I thought that they would like to hear that." He's already figured out how to play to a crowd.
