Mitchell had big plans for his birthay long before it was time to make any. He decided that all of his cousis would be flying in from Vegas and Utah for the festivities, because why wouldn't they, right? We finally got him to understand that we would just be inviting friends who lived close by. He decided that he wanted to play soccer at his party, so we bought some nets and let them go crazy. He also had to have a Star Wars cake, and since I'm so adept at making cakes, (ha!ha!) we had to find something I could actually do. We ended up buying a plain chocolate Costco cake, and melting frosting in the microwave to recreate the hot lava scene in Episode III. He was really happy with it, and he had a lot of fun at his party.
