Our day started bright and early. John was as excited as the kids and didn't sleep much at all, so when he heard stirring from the other room, he ran quickly to get the kids up at 6:30a.m. Mitchell was a little confused and thought it was still the middle of the night. He said, "But dad, I didn't hear any jingle bells yet." John told him that the cookies were gone, so Santa must have come. The kids were so excited. They are both at the perfect age for Christmas. We had tons of fun with presents, and then went to Grandma's for lunch with all of the family.
