On February 12th Mitchell finally lost his first tooth. It had been loose for a long time, but he didn't want us to tug on it too much, so he just played with it for weeks. Finally, as he was eating a PB&J sandwich, it came out. Unfortunately, he ate it up along with his sandwich. Luckily Uncle Ryan is a dentist, and as we all know dentists are friends with the tooth fairy, so Uncle Ryan was able to convince Mitchell that he would talk to the tooth fairy and she would still come. Mitchell was determined to be the first kid to see the tooth fairy, but quiclky fell asleep. Even though he didn't catch her, he was really excited to wake up to two dollars under his pillow.
