I first caught this little guy stealing oranges off of our tree a couple months ago. Catherine and I got a good laugh at watching him climb up the tree, shake a limb until a nice, big orange fell off, and then proceed to carry the huge thing up onto the deck for a tasty lunch. Well, two months later he is still up to his tricks. He does this every day, and leaves a big mess of orange peel all over my deck. The kids love to watch him, and it is amazing how much he has grown. The best part is when he is trying to jump up onto the deck with the huge orange between his mouth and his hands, and he can't quite make the jump. It takes several attempts depending on the size of the orange. He is now probably the fattest squirrel I have ever seen. Who knew squirrels liked oranges?
