On his drive to work today John called to tell me there was tons of snow. You can imagine my suprise. We have NEVER EVER seen snow here, except on top of the mountain. So, I did the natural thing and bundled the kids up, forgot all about school, and drove to our old favorite park in Clayton. Clayton looked suprisingly similar to Provo. It was awesome. The kids had so much fun and we even ran into some friends. There were people there with sleds and just so much fun happening. The kids threw snow balls and just had the best time ever. It was SO worth missing school. We played until we had soaked through our second set of clothes. I thought James would be timid, but he was rolling in it and laying on the ground licking it. He LOVED it. He just kept eating mouthfuls.

Wow,I can't believe there was that much snow there! I can't ever remember seeing snow like that growing up. On rare days like that, you have to forget about school and go out and have fun. Who knows when that will happen again! Thanks for posting the pics!!
