Catherine's Hair

 

 

 

 

Just before Christmas Catherine finally talked me into letting her cut her hair. I was really stressed during the whole thing, but it turned out really cute and most importantly, she LOVES it. If you know Catherine, you know she is very particular about her appearance. She lays out her clothes at night because what she wears is crazy important. Before she even comes down the stairs in the morning, she is fully dressed. She tells me EXACTLY how she wants her hair to be, every little piece (I promise), and I have to keep working until it is just right. Normally, her new cut is just the straight bob, but today she decided she needed curls by her face. We had to try two different curling irons until the curls were just the right size for her. She is hilarious.

I just have one more story about Catherine, although I could probably write an entire book. John had the following conversation with her in the car:

Catherine: "Hey dad, tell me something." (Cath is really into making small talk.)

John: "Like what?"

Cath: "Just tell me something."

John: "Okay, did you know that when it is winter, like now, bears go to sleep for the whole winter?"

Cath: "Dad, I already know ALL about hibernation; tell me something I don't know."
