On Christmas Eve we had so much fun. Natalie, Aaron, Brianna and Bradley, along with Grandma and Grandpa Aaron came over to celebrate. We had a yummy ham dinner and then did the Christmas story. Catherine and Mitchell were really excited about it and couldn't wait to dress up. They wanted James to be baby Jesus, but I knew there was no way he would oblige. We all sang carols and then opened presents from grandma and grandpa, and them jammies, of course. The kids were so excited to go to bed. We didn't even have to ask them. Catherine was asleep in about 2 minutes, but Mitchell was too excited and took quite a while to fall asleep. The kids were sad to say good-bye to Gepeddo, our house elf, for the next year, but they're looking forward to seeing him again after Thanksgiving next year. I think Catherine was a little relieved that he wasn't going to always be there to report on her behavior.
