We had a short window of no rain and I took advantage. I planted two japanese maple trees, one of which is VERY tiny, one apple tree, two camellia bushes, one gardenia, one lilac bush, some jasmine and another climbing vine. They all started very small, but have already grown a lot. I also took ALL of the crazy weeds out of the planter boxes we made and put in strawberries, and tons of flower seeds. The bushes are already full of little strawberries, and the flower seeds have sprouted and seem to be doing well. Gotta love California! Unfortunately, the rain started again, so I will have to wait for another lapse to finish the other side of the yard. It takes a good four days to dry out after one day of rain, and we haven't had too many dry days in a row. Anyway, this is what my busy season looks like.
