My Two-Year-Old

James is now two. He is such a little smartie. He can count by himself all the way to sixty. He can pick out random numbers up to 60 out of a lineup. He can count by tens to one hundred. He knows the entire alphabet and all the letter sounds in any order you choose. He is even starting to sound out small words. He can count to ten in Spanish and French and can show you on his fingers any number you ask, in any of the languages. He can sing and do the actions to loads of songs. His favorites are: Twinkle Twinkle, Popcorn Popping, the Snowman song, Child of God, and the family song (aka. Families Can Be Together Forever). He is obsessed with learning, and would choose learning over any toy you could offer. However, he is very much a two-year-old. He throws major temper tantrums in public places. He runs around the house demanding candy, cake, and chocolate. And watch out, because he's a biter. No, he doesn't bite random kids in nursery, or in the play center at the gym. He bites only those people he feels he can dominate: me, Catherine, Mitchell, and his poor little cousin Boston. He is a handful, but he makes life so much fun!

He is a little smarty pants! I can't believe he can do all those things. Are you some kind of super mommy? I need your mad skills over here because Wyatt still calls a 4 a 2!
