Yesterday we went with some friends to Baker Beach at the Presidio in SF. It was cold in the East Bay, so I was worried it might be freezing at the beach. We were pleasantly surprised to find beautiful, sunny weather. It couldn't have been nicer. The kids played happily for several hours digging, building sand castles, walking along the beach, chasing each other with seaweed, carrying around driftwood, and burying each other in the sand. James had fun eating mouthfuls of sand and crunching it in his teeth. We even spotted three porpoises jumping just maybe fifty yards form the shore. Anyway, it was such a fun day and we even got to pick up daddy for dinner on the way home.
