More Columbia

Here are some more photos of our day in Columbia. They had little shops that were set up as they would have been. I took a photo of the dentists instruments because I thought my siblings might enjoy it. The dentists office was pretty frightening. Although I have to say, it seems the torture is pretty much the same, except sometimes nowadays the dentists will let you have a little novicane. Sometimes. My favorite quote of the day was when Catherine dropped some of the gold we had been collecting in our little vial. Mitchell yelled out, "Oh no, now were not going to be rich anymore Catherine." He was completely serious too. No wonder he was working so hard and long at panning that gold.

Yes, I appreciate the pictures, Nik. Although I have to correct you. Dentists have not used novocaine for about thirty years now. It has a very short duration of action with some adverse side effects. We have been using xylocaine instead for quite some time. That is much more humane than using novocaine. Get your facts straight...
