Mitchell started first grade the last week in July. The school across the street from us didn't have any room in first grade, so he was forced to go to another school. Fortunately, a spot opened up for him at the end of the week, but that meant he had to go to two first days. It really helped that he already knew our next door neighbor, who just happened to be put in the same class, and all the boys from soccer. He has really adjusted well and is loving first grade. Catherine started preschool about a week later and really loves it. She has a great teacher with a super sweet voice. Catherine has a little friend from church in her class so it works out nicely. Things are going well for us and we are really happy here.
