The day after we got home, Catherine's preschool had their last field trip of the year. Although we didn't feel much like going, we had a really good time. She completely rented out Small World Park for us and the kids got to do all of the rides and fun stuff without any crowds or lines. It was a lot of fun, and suprisingly, James was even willing to ride things alone. Mitchell and Catherine also had fun catching crawdads with their makeshift fishing poles made of sticks that we found on the ground and stuck pieces of hot dog to. They actually caught several, which we tossed back in before we left. It was a great, although exhausting day. Jet lag is not so fun.
