We decided to spend a night in Louisville instead of driving all the way back to Nashville in one day, so we went on Priceline and bid. We ended up with an awesome hotel in downtown Louisville. If you've ever had a "hot brown" sandwich, this is the hotel that invented them. (They're really good by the way.) It was really nice, and all of the other guests were dressed in suits. We stuck out a little with our kids and chaos, but we didn't mind too much. It is apparently one of the big places people stay in during the Kentucky Derby and has been around since the 20's. It definitely had that feel to it.
