On Friday, we went shopping at some cool outlets and then took the kids to see a movie. We also did some swimming and catching up on homework. One crazy thing happened at the hotel. Every day they had activities planned for the kids. On Friday, I took them to a bracelet making activity. While we were busily working, James decided to shove a bead WAY up his nose. He kept sneezing and pushing it with his finger. Once we realized what had happened, we thought for sure it would mean a trip to the E.R. We ran back to the room and grabbed some tweezers. Luckily John has steady hands and was able to fish it out. So much fun!!

Saturday, we went with Bill and Aftin to the Newport Temple to take some photos. Then, we went to Laguna beach. John spotted dolphins, but before we could come they were gone. Anyway we had lunch with everyone and then John and Bill took the kids to the tidepools while Aftin and I got to stay with sleeping babies and do some reading. Thanks guys!! I don'y have photos of the tidepools, but I'm sure Mitchell does. I'll have to borrow some from him.

It was an awesome trip, and we were so glad we got to catch up with Bill and Aftin. Catherine always loves playing with Aliyah. John's week was even better because of the Giants winning the World Series. You can see he had his beard going all week long. There's a lot of superstition in baseball.
