We had a really fun ward trunk or treat this year. All the rooms around the perimeter of the building were decorated and had carnival style games. The kids rotated through. Since the primary was involved, both John and I had to work stations, so luckily a friend took our kids around to all the fun stuff. John worked the doughnut on a string station, as you can tell by the powdered sugar over us all. After the games, the kids did the trunk or treating outside. They loved it. James was super excited about the whole thing too. James and Catherine are all about candy. After they went to all the cars, they helped me hand out. James happily "drove" us around the whole time. He was pretending to be just like mom, soda and all.
