Over Labor Day weekend we decided to go to one of our favorite spots, Columbia, CA. It's a little gold town set up just as it was in the late 1800's, just outside of Yosemite. We left just after church and spent the night there, so that we could have the whole day Monday to check things out. The kids panned for gold, drank our favorite sarsparillas, and even got robbed on a stagecoach ride. In the morning we went to a nearbly apple farm to taste their famous mile high apple pie. It did not dissappoint. It was a great day!
